Ugh so as far as I CAN remember This girl i hate was in the hallway infront of my house, like more than once n each time i ended up in s screaming crashout but my parents were helping her, giving her my bike to go home cuz it's foggy n defending her saying look her other frnd(accurate name to real life) is there too, she was just waiting for her Like okay lmao yes this would never happen in real life but I do hate that girl ns then suddenly a school frnd, a guy has come over, we're laying on my bed, watching him scroll his phone n idk i was feeling cuddly so i snuggled up to him(lmao again, unrealistic) and then by some point we were full on cuddling, fully immersed n fully scared my parents would walk in, and he'd gotten up to shut the door once and like he'd changed from looking like my classmates to some guy id see n find hot on Pinterest, but ofc dream shit, n we got back to cuddling, n now he was spooning me n his hands on my stomach and he said don't you think it'd be better for us if you got rid of this(mentioning to the extra fat) and i got kinda embarrassed and said we're not even saying dating n he said something like we are till I find a new job (i can't remember clearly) And then I was like new job? He's said something like i move on, I can't focus at one thing only at a time And then I said, don't you think it be better if you got rid of that for us? And again scene changing, it's my Birthday? And I'm still wholly convinced I'm not pretty or thin(like in real life) n theres this guy, who I'm guessing was my boyfriend, it's like i couldn't tell if he was the same one from the previous scene or not, but ik we were romantically involved, kinda secretive too ig And i remember coming back from some place n finding all my frnds, from my ex school, sitting at the table already n this girl, this really pretty girl from my ex class sitting n talking beside him n i was planning to sit on his side, and then I see a space beside a good male frnd of mine, from ex class (but we still talk) and sit beside him, relieved n hoping to irk some jealousy in this guy, and as I was talking to him, sweet, nice, this girl interjects n starts talking over me, he starts talking with her And i remember thinking that guy(the bf?) must be alone rn right, but I couldn't move, like i said i got the vibes we were something very secretive but nonetheless I was mad at why he wasnt approaching either n him talking to her but I do try to take glimpses at him And at some point that pretty girl comes up to me n she starts droning on aboyt how im pretty n looked gorgeous in the pics we took last time we met but I can just think "it's all fake, she's lying, being sarcastic n how i looked so fat in the pics of last event" And then i notice messages fromhim And i ignore his messages, he's sent some message like look at this Japanese horror movie, i drew a stektch of this character, you should watch it, wht do u think, I leave it on read, he messages again, something not directly apologizing but it did give damage control vibes( I can't remember wht it was) but it convinced me enough to go watch this movie myslef, alone (again unrealistic, i never watch horror movies alone) And its liek initially I was just watching the trailer but it ended up becoming the whole movie, and at some point when I realised oh isn't this too long for a trailer, I was in the movie, like not watching through a screen anymore, I was in the movie, I was a character And the movie was about this normal seeking family who had a dakr secret, a forever possesed cannibalistic sister on the first floor, and ofc the rule that no one was allowed to go there n shit, not even the younger sis of the house And finally the trailer the younger sis frnds are suspicious, they're like we know you hve a sister, the girl is trying to convince them she doesn't, and they pull out a picture of the older sis The younger sis repeats again, i don't hve a sister, now crying, and suddenly the camera oans to the older sister who's somehow managed to escape her bonds n is hungry n bloodthristy n come down to the ground floor, she instantly jumps on the frnds, starts eating them grotesqly And then ig it was at this point that i became the younger sister, and the scenes had changed, I was in a new building somehow aware the older sis was coming aftar me n arriving here in less then 5 minutes, and I didn't think running down was any use , so I went up, the stairs n i had more frnds spawn up out of nowhere (dream shit) and they were joking around n cussing at me for making them walk the stairs n all i could do was feel terrified knowing a blood thirsty sister who's now being accompanied by our father is after me(also lmao since this was a Japanese movie, we all were very Asian looking) And i could see them in a plane, the sis hiding her monastery mutilated face, not harming dad or the pilate n the dad was giving her tips, promises, they were after me And like thts why I was running up the stairs in the first place, n it was an apartment building so lots of stairs, seemed never ending n it was so so so hard to climb for some reason, like i was carrying rocks in my back And suddenly a dread fills me, they're here, the frnds I was with dying, my sister jumping on them n eating them n for one of them she decided to give me a show, taking off her ears n nose n eyes (and idk why her face changed to a little blonde american girl here lmao, dream inconsistencies)(also the taking of the body parts n eating wasn't scary n it really wasn't, all i could wierdly think was such shit vfx effects) And then idk, the next part is kinda blurry, I'm running up, I'm on the roof, and somehow the roof is only 1 floor up, the sis n father here too, and some extra characters i don't remember their origin at all and gaian it's all hazy but somone pulls up a ladder to the floor n it's like each character's choice if they wanna stay here n fight or go down the ladder 1 guy already down the ladder, and im shit scared so I decide to follow, and I'm going down the ladder, very hurriedly n then uk the narrator monologue of movies, it goes off, saying how the father was shot in an instant when he tried to escape(so ig I was seeing thriught the father's eyes now) cuz I felt something on my neck, and then someone jump on me and i remember thinking, this me absolutely my personal thinking in the dream, that ima just stay upstairs, it's not too late for me, like i was convinced i was a characer of my own But uk deep down it did feel like yes ik i am the one who died, not the dad, that it was me the younger sis who died And i remember the movie had more to it, way more but suddenly I was back to watching it via the trailer And I was worried this whole time, this whole movie time that i should just reconfirm if this is the movie he was talking about , but I couldn't, i didn't hve the autonomy to, But now when I was back to watching it on yt, from a screen, i realised it's not a trailer, it's this movie, which wierdly enough was 30 mins when I saw it now n but later turned to 2 hrs And i was just skimming throught the scenes now trying to find her(older sis) looking like the sketch that guy had drawn, and in the sketch, she was turned upside down, like crab walking, and mouth bloody, scary And when I was skimming I saw scenes like buses being thrown in fests n all, where people were gathered, them running away, And again, knew there was more of the movie, wanted an ending but woke up
Dreams are often a blend of our subconscious thoughts, emotions, and experiences, and can be quite surreal. Here's an interpretation of your dream:
Conflict and Rivalry: The presence of the girl you hate in the hallway of your house, and your parents' support for her, may symbolize feelings of rivalry and unresolved conflicts in waking life. The hallway, being a transitional space, suggests a confrontation or encounter that feels inescapable or recurring. Your parents' defense of her might reflect inner feelings of betrayal or lack of understanding from close ones regarding your emotions towards this person.
Romantic and Self-Image Concerns: The cuddling scene with a school friend turning into someone you find attractive hints at a desire for emotional connection and physical intimacy. However, the conversation about body image reflects insecurities and self-doubt, possibly amplified by societal beauty standards. His nonchalant comments about finding a new job and moving on could symbolize fears about rejection and impermanence in relationships.
Relationships and Jealousy: The birthday gathering with friends and the presence of a seemingly pretty girl near your romantic interest highlights possible insecurities and concerns about being overshadowed or replaced. The secretive nature of your relationship and the lack of action from your partner may indicate feelings of neglect and the desire for validation.
Communication and Misinterpretation: The ignored messages from your partner and the eventual decision to watch a horror movie alone reveal your struggle with communication and possibly feeling unheard or misunderstood. The horror movie becomes a metaphor for confronting fears and the unknown, represented by the supernatural elements of the film.
Family and Fear: The movie's plot about a possessed, cannibalistic sister and the attempt to escape her with the father's help touches on deep-seated anxieties related to family, control, and protection. The relentless pursuit of the older sister, transformed into a monster, could reflect unresolved fears about familial pressures or expectations consuming your identity.
Struggle and Choice: Climbing endless stairs while feeling weighed down is symbolic of life's challenges and personal burdens. The ladder scene at the roof, where characters decide to fight or flee, highlights a critical moment of choice in confronting or avoiding issues in waking life.
Illusions and Reality Check: The realization that the movie you were watching wasn't simply a trailer reflects the complex nature of understanding and navigating real-life situations. The search for meaning or "the ending" implies seeking closure or resolution to ongoing life dilemmas.
This dream weaves your conscious insecurities, unresolved conflicts, and a search for identity with imaginative, surreal elements. It stresses personal introspection on how you view yourself, your relationships, and life's challenges. It's also a reminder of the importance of communication, self-acceptance, and the courage to deal with fears and anxieties.
